Once again, the Democrats have the leverage (by using the filibuster) to stop the funding bill for DHS. Senator Schumer (D-NY) has stated the Democrats’ demands:
- Prohibit roving patrols and expand warrant requirements for federal law enforcers.
- Adopt a universal code of conduct for all federal law enforcers.
- Ban masks and require body cameras for all DHS officers.
These are the senators who voted with the Republicans in November and to end the shutdown. Senators:

Maggie Hassan (D-New Hampshire)
Catherine Cortez Masto (D-Nevada)
John Fetterman (D-Pennsylvania)
Jacky Rosen (D-Nevada)

Angus King (I-Maine)
They need extra reminders to not back down without any gains.
But we need to call all Democratic Senators and hold them accountable to the people who are risking their lives on the streets. Send the message that you want ICE to end NOW.
