Greetings!
You probably have heard about the ongoing protests at Tesla showrooms. Starting in February the Tesla Takedown protests have grown in momentum and are leading up to a nationwide day of action this Saturday, March 29th. The goal is to protest at all 500 Tesla showrooms. Protesting together is powerful. You have an instant bond with the person standing next to you. You’re not “just” one voice. You feel less alone. And raising your voice is a visceral release of anger and frustration. Have I convinced you to go out and protest yet?! You can look for a protest near you here.
Please keep in mind that we are protesting against Elon Musk, not Tesla drivers. Many Tesla owners purchased these cars because they wanted to decrease fossil fuel emissions that are contributing to climate change. If you own a Tesla, you can buy a bumper sticker stating your thoughts/embarrassment/support for the anti-Tesla movement on many sites. Here are some of them: Redbubble, Zazzle, and ironically, Amazon.
Get those signs ready! Betty
