Good morning! May 1st is International Workers’ Day, also known as Labor Day is celebrated in more than160 countries all over the world. It is a tribute to the working classes and laborers. Traditionally parades, marches and protests are held on this day.
Although it is not Labor Day here in the U.S. we will be protesting once again. It is not a holiday here, as it is in most countries that celebrate this day, but most events are taking place at the end of the day. After a hard day’s work give yourself a boost and join a group, even if it’s for a short time. The unity, creativity of signs, and the feeling of community is sure to lift you up! Here’s the link to find an event near you. Happy Spring! Betty

And now the music:
Get ready for the first day in May with this song “The First of May” by James Taylor. In his inimitable gentle voice he paints images of spring that we can hold onto for the rainy days that are sure to come. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CHp_-m1r6TE
