Good morning! I have unwittingly joined the club of not knowing where to turn next as DJT’s daily destruction continues. The only way I know how to exit this club is to focus on one issue at a time. For today, I’m focusing on what our Democratic Senators and Representatives are doing over the August break.
The DNC (Democratic National Committee) is launching a summer blitz “”Organizing Summer” of nationwide events in all fifty states, along with digital advertising, and mobile billboard-truck advertising at state and county fairs in red districts.

Hope to see you at one of these events! Betty
And now the music:
George Gershwin knew how to meld jazz and classical music into an unparalleled treasure of songs, band/orchestra, piano and instrumental repertoire. One of the most popular songs from Porgy and Bess, the opera he composed with brother Ira Gershwin and DuBose Heyward as lyricists, captures summer like no one else could. Here is “Summertime.”
