Good morning! The horrific ICE kidnappings continue but there is something you can do. APPLE has an app that notifies you of any ICE agents nearby. It is available for iPhone users only. You can download it here. Share it widely, especially with anyone who might need it.

When we were in Portugal we met a Canadian who had permanently moved to Portugal. I asked him if he had found an ex-pat community. His response was so refreshing. “I don’t call myself an ex-pat. That’s a white person’s term for immigrant. I am an immigrant.” Words to live by for all of us who come from somewhere other than the U.S.

And now the music:
Irving Szathmary was one of six children of Hungarian descent. He was a child prodigy pianist from the age of five. He led a band and composed and arranged music for USO tours during WWII. Szathmary had a brother, Bill, who was a comedian, a brother, Al, who was an actor, another brother, Sidney, who played violin in the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, a brother, Arthur, who was on the Philosophy faculty at Princeton University and a sister, Fannie, who was a law librarian at University of Southern California. For fans of Agent 86, Irving Szathmary’s talent is embedded in our TV memories.
